The Mountain View Senior Citizen Center is a great place to meet friends and enjoy the company of others. Located at 903 E. First St., the Center is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, with lunch served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Persons 60 years and older are eligible to participate in its program. Guest are welcome at an additional cost for their meals. Services available through the center include blood pressure checks, newsletters, homemaker services, senior fitness, tax counseling, telephone reassurance and transportation. Activities include bingo, cards, ceramics, parties, pool tables, shuffleboard and more. The center is staffed by dedicated volunteers. Call (417) 934-6504 for more information.
