Thousands will gather in downtown Mountain View Saturday, Sept. 28, and we hope you are one of them!
Friday, Sept. 27
4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. – Benefit ham and bean supper at Mountain View Community Center the night before Pioneer Day. Stop in for all you can eat ham and beans, coleslaw, cornbread and dessert for only $7.00! Proceeds will benefit The House of Abigail.
Pioneer Day – Saturday, Sept. 28
6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. – Flapjack breakfast
8 a.m. – Welcome by MVCOC President Mark Castaneda, Prayer and National Anthem
Enjoy the Antique Wagon, Tractor & Car Show (Oak Street), pioneer demonstrators (east of the community center), over 100 food, craft and other vendors (1st and Oak), FFA train and kids’ activities (Elm Street), entertainment galore and contests too!
Additions and details to the schedule will be added at a later date. There may be changes too, so check back often!
4 p.m. – Parade (lineup at the city pool/Wayside Park heading out on 5th Street, south on Elm and west on 1st to airport)
